🧸 A note from Haru

LoopJelly started with two things I loved: plants & perler beads.

LoopJelly was founded by two kindred spirits — Haru and Aaron.

As long as I can remember, my dream has been to create things that feel meaningful and full of life. Losing my mother made me feel like I grew up overnight. With her, I lost my sense of childlike joy and lightness.

During that time, perler beads and small potted plants gave me an unexpected sense of calm and safety.

They were simple, inanimate objects — yet they brought me back to my childhood, to the sweet moments when my mother would buy me gummy candies. Soft, sweet, and full of warmth.

That’s when I combined my two loves, and perler bead plants were born.

Made from memory,
shaped with intention.

Together, Aaron and I blend our shared passion for design and art as a way of moving forward. I longed to feel warmth again — and to weave that feeling into every piece we create.

Our creations are deeply influenced by the Asian cultures we grew up with, as well as the cultures we continue to learn from.

We draw inspiration from the symbolism found in Chinese family traditions and from the belief that small, intentional moments can help us find inner peace.

Designing through this lens allows us to stay connected to our roots, honor the loved ones we’ve lost, and better understand who we are becoming.

Today, LoopJelly is still a small creative studio. Every design starts with us — from choosing the plants that inspire us to refining the colors, shapes and tiny details that make each piece feel like LoopJelly.

We hope these creations bring warmth, innocence and gentle joy into your everyday life.
